Archiving Policy for Authors
Author Personal Use Rights
Authors may post or display the official reprints generated by Neural Press™ on personal, non-commercial webpages or institutional profile pages, provided that:
Appropriate citation and attribution are given to the Journal and Neural PressTM.
A direct DOI link to the formal publication is included.
A link to the applicable Creative Commons license is provided; and
The article remains unmodified and complete in its published form.
Copyright Retention: Authors retain the copyright to their underlying research text, data, and findings.
Exclusive License to Publish: Upon acceptance, authors grant Neural PressTM an exclusive, irrevocable license to format, typeset, and distribute their research.
Default Licensing : The final article is published under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0). Under this exclusive publisher license, authors are strictly prohibited from hosting or archiving the final typeset PDF on commercial platforms (including ResearchGate and Academia.edu).
Funder Compliance Exception: In cases where an author's research funding mandate strictly requires a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), that specific license will be applied to the text. However, third-party distribution of the article remains subject to prior written agreement with Neural PressTM
Alternative Licensing Arrangements
Authors requiring compliance with institutional, governmental, or funding-body open-access mandates may apply, upon manuscript acceptance, for publication under an alternative Creative Commons license, including CC BY, subject to approval by Neural Press™ and any applicable publication policies.
