Data Sharing Policy
The Journal of Multiscale Neuroscience (JMN) provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public, thereby supporting a greater global exchange of knowledge. JMN is an international journal that promotes publication among research scientists, scholars, academicians, and medical professionals across the globe.
The Diamond Open Access publishing model adopted by the Journal of Multiscale Neuroscience is intended to support equitable access to scientific knowledge, long-term organizational sustainability, and digital sovereignty in scholarly communication. All articles published by the Journal are distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution–NonCommercial–NoDerivatives 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0), unless otherwise specified.
Permitted Use
Readers are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access, download, read, and share the final published Version of Record solely for personal, educational, research, and other non-commercial purposes, provided that full and unaltered attribution to the Journal, authors, and publisher is always maintained.
No Derivative Works
The published article, including its text, figures, tables, formatting, metadata, and layout, may not be modified, adapted, translated, remixed, transformed, or incorporated into derivative works in any medium or format without the prior written permission of Neural Press.
Digital Distribution Restrictions
The final typeset PDF reprints (Version of Record) generated and published by Neural Press remain the proprietary digital publication format of the Journal. Authors, institutions, repositories, and third parties are prohibited from uploading, hosting, redistributing, or archiving the final published PDF on commercial networking or repository platforms, including but not limited to ResearchGate and Academia.edu, unless expressly authorized in writing by Neural Press.
Public dissemination and scholarly sharing of published articles must occur exclusively through:
the official DOI link hosted on the Journal’s primary domain; or
an explicit written distribution agreement executed directly with Neural Press.
Reservation of Rights
Except as expressly permitted herein, all rights, including publishing, distribution, archival formatting, branding, and digital presentation rights relating to the Version of Record, are reserved by Neural Press. Nothing in this policy shall be construed as transferring ownership of the Journal’s proprietary publication format or branding assets to authors or third parties.
