The editor in chief of Journal of Multiscale Neuroscience is responsible for deciding which of the articles submitted to the journal should be published. The decision is based on the recommendation of the journal's editorial board members and reviewers. The journal abides by legal requirements as shall then be in force regarding libel, copyright infringement and plagiarism. The editor confers with the editorial team and reviewers in making this decision.

General Peer-review Process



An author's manuscript is evaluated by a group of peer reviewers before it is published. Submitted manuscripts are assessed by independent researchers in the relevant field for originality, validity, and significance to help editors determine if the manuscript should be published in the journal. Typically, the scientific quality of a paper that is deemed suitable will be assessed by at least two independent experts. Keep in mind that revisions and improvement are part of the publication process and actually help raise the quality of your manuscript.

   Citing and referencing:  In-text citation   

In-text citations are included within the text of the main document. A number is allocated to a source in the order in which it is cited in the text. The first reference used in a written document is listed as 1 in the reference list. If the source is referred to again, the same number is used. Use blue Arabic numerals [1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9] in square brackets [#]. This number corresponds to a reference list entry at the end of the paper, in which sources are given in full.

Every in-text citation has a corresponding reference in a reference list. References must be numbered consecutively in the order they are first mentioned in the   main text of an article. Do not abbreviate journal names. they should be listed in Full.
